Hi I'm Nikki and welcome to my page. Here's a little bit about me and the reason I have become a Clinical Reflexologist.
Upon graduating from the University of Worcester with a BA Hons in Social Welfare, I trained and worked as a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker. I have been working in both prison and the community services over the past six years.
After suffering with sciatica I was recommended by a friend to try reflexology. I researched for a local reflexologist and booked my first session, I felt the positive effects of the reflexology almost immediately and by the forth session I was hooked and knew that this is something I would love to do myself. I made the decision to train as a reflexologist as this would allow me to continue in a caring profession and practice something that I love.
I enrolled on a Diploma course with the International Institute of Reflexology. This is the only school which trains in the original Ingham method and is the only method which is internationally recognised. Having graduated in July 2019 I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists and carry full insurance to enable me to fulfill my legal responsibilities.
My practice is based from my home in Barrow upon Soar in Leicestershire. I have a dedicated therapy room on the first floor which is fully equipped to ensure that all clients receive a relaxing experience. However, if clients are unable to negotiate the stairs I am able to accommodate treatments on the ground floor.
I look forward to hearing from you soon,
